Tour 1
Rimbo Panti Nature Reserve, Lubuklandor Fish Sanctuary
We travel 35 km to this very special part of West Sumatra to visit the hot springs and take a short nature walk. After this we drive further into the mountains and valleys, stopping for a picnic lunch in the tropical rainforest.
After a short drive we arrive at Lubuklandor, where you will see many traditional houses and an amazing fish sanctuary. Learn the history and culture of this remote village.

Harau Valley, Rafflesia Sanctuary, Equator
Our first stop is Bonjol, where we pause for sightseeing and taking photos. The next village, Batang Palupuh (where the Rafflesia Arnoldi Sanctuary is located) is a good distance away, so sit back and take in the awesome views.
After a picnic lunch we travel on to Harau Valley, where many an artist has found inspiration. Here we go on light trail walks.

Sit back and take in the awesome views of Sianok Canyon. We visit Fort de Kock to see the museum and other historical buildings, and after a cafe lunch it's off to the local markets - our tour guide knows where the bargains are.

Lake Maninjau
This beautiful crater lake, surrounded by rainforest, is well worth the three hours drive through canyons, jungle and the famous 44 bends. You can explore the area, or simply take a dip in the lake. After a picnic lunch you can relax or go shopping for local crafts.
