Depart for Padang Airport
You'll be picked up at Padang airport and take a transfer bus to the port. Here you board the charter boat and head off to the Mentawi Islands.
There's air-conditioned accommodation, and full meals with a choice of Asian and Western menus. Soft drinks and mineral water also supplied. Cold beers can be bought on-board. Snorkelling and fishing gear is available.
Local knowledge ensures you'll surf the best breaks in the whole Mentawi region. After ten days on the water you'll enjoy a relaxing stay at Hotel Rimbo, where you can experience the local culture and the unique Rimbo environment.

You'll be picked up at Padang Airport and take a transfer bus to to the port. Here you board a ferry and head off to Siberut Island in the Mentawi group.
The surf camp is not far from here, where you'll stay on a remote island with over a dozen surf breaks to choose from. The accommodation is very basic with no electricity; bed mats, pillows and mosquito nets are provided.
There's plenty of fresh water, and three basic meals a day are provided (mainly fish, rice, vegetables and fruit). The surf shack also has snorkelling and fishing gear available for use. After ten days, transfer to Hotel Rimbo, where you can experience the local culture and the unique Rimbo environment.
